P.2 STEAM Car Race

The STEAM Car Race for P.2 students was held on 11th November, 2019. The aim for the car race was to allow students to apply the knowledge gained in class such as friction and fair test into the competition. Meanwhile, students need to adjust the direction of the car and the design in order to increase the car’s acceleration. Throughout the process, students could learn from mistakes and trials.

Students not only participated proactively in the competition, but also kept in mind the principles of STEAM lessons, which is to be observative, reflective and hands-on. The school hopes to enhance students’ maker skills by holding different kinds of learning activities.
