Visit to Yuen Chau Kok Public Library

To encourage the utilization of public resources as well as to develop students‘ self-learning skillset, classes of Primary One students paid a visit to the Yuen Chau Kok Public Library in late November. 

The visit was divided into two days, in which students were able to learn more about the services and regulations of the Hong Kong public libraries. They then attended seminars on different forms of reading materials, such as 3D books and Ebooks. Students also learnt about the procedures of borrowing books at the self-service station.

The visit to the Yuen Chau Kok Library had been a rewarding experience, students were not only introduced with what libraries offer, but also allowed to share the joy of reading with their fellow classmates.
