Life planning education in our school is not merely a remedial or advisory service for our students when they are in need of making subject or career choices. Through our curriculum and activities, students are equipped with the knowledge, skills and attitude to make wise choices in accordance with their interests, abilities and orientations; and they are guided to integrate their career/academic aspirations with whole-person development and life-long learning.

The Career Guidance Committee has joined hands with the Old Girls’ Association to launch the F.6 OLE Day. It is hoped that the mutual communication between our alumnae and our current students enables the student participants to grow in such domains as personal, physical and mental development, career choices, outlook of life and academic studies.

Our group holds different visits and job-shadowing schemes to enable students to obtain up-to-date knowledge about the world of work. Work ethics, such as integrity, commitment and responsibility are emphasised in these activities, so that students can have a good idea of what will be expected of them in their future working life.

Thematic career talks are organized for students and parents to provide them with the latest information on career and life planning, streaming, further studies, trends of the working world, introductions to different industries and professions and good parenting is conducted throughout the year.
